This year we are doing things just a little different as we are planning our “Winter Retreat.” Instead of cold, winter, snow, ice, sledding and tubing, we are headed to Key Lime Cove Resort and Water Park in Gurnee, IL where it is always an 86 degree paradise. Check out their Website! We will leave PHCC on Friday afternoon and return on Saturday Evening. (I will have more specific time details once I have ironed out a few schedule wrinkles.)
So what will this Tropical Get-A-Way cost? $75 will cover just about everything. Bring some extra spending money for the arcade, gift shop and Saturday Dinner on the way home.
We will have a great time for sure this weekend, so plan to come expecting just that. We are planning 3 Sessions during the weekend (Friday night, Saturday morning and afternoon). Since we are at a Water Park Resort our Spiritual Theme will be about Water in Bible. In God’s Story, He used Water to illustrate some key spiritual lessons about who He is and how we can trust Him more deeply and follow Him more closely.

This weekend is the Big YG: Mini-Retreat! Here’s a couple of things that will help you get ready.
• We will meet at PHCC @ 5 PM and Leave shortly after that.
• We will eat dinner on the road before we get to Key Lime Cove in Gurnee. Students will need money for this meal.
• Once we get to Key Lime Cove, the $75 fee covers everything while we are there.
o Students are able to add some spending money to their account. Each person gets a bracelet that acts as their room key, access pass, and payment method for games, extra food, gift shop, etc. Perhaps $20 for spending should be enough, but that’s up to you.
• We have adjoining rooms reserved. The Girls will be in one room with Dawn Mungovan (Ciera’s Mom) and the Guys will be in the other room with me.
• We will return to PHCC on Saturday night after we stop for dinner on the road. Students do not need money for this meal.
o We should arrive at PHCC before 8PM. We will call if there is a change in plans.
• Attached is our annual Permission – Release Form. Please print off, fill out, sign and bring with you on Friday.
• Bring: Swimsuit (this is a water park!) and all the usuals. Do I need to list them? Ok, clothes, toiletries, etc. Your Bible, and a Great Attitude! This is definitely a NO MOPING Weekend!
